BioTeacher, traveler, voter, reader, cook, gardener, friend, wife, mother. Known as "The Calm One" in teaching circles.
Known in some other communities as "Teach"
Long-time reader of fannish fiction, ( Babylon 5, Farscape, Stargate and Atlantis) stepping out of lurkerdom. Family history in Science Fiction. One sister is a published author of six SF novels, and Isaac Asimov once pinched my grandmother. Really.
I add Friends for my reading, and have no expectation of being friended back. (Is "friended" standard English? Don't think so. Bad Teach.
I'm usually dull as dirt, and plan to generally post entries on travel, teaching, food, and personal rants and trauma.
